Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift.
Effective as of 2008, all contributions provided by the Matching Company in regards to tickets must be submitted to the Gator Booster offices no later than the season ticket ordering deadline. For more information on Matching, please contact Liz Hassell at 352-375-4683 x 5064 or click here to email her.
Matching gifts must be made payable to Gator Boosters Inc.
The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 provides that no deduction will be allowed for any amount contributed to an institution of higher education if the taxpayer receives, directly or indirectly, the right to purchase tickets for an athletic event of such institution. Therefore, there will no longer be a deduction for Gator Booster contributions that give you the right to purchase tickets after January 1, 2018. No portion of any ticket related contribution made after that date is deductible.
The IRS prohibits us from accepting gifts from donor advised funds for annual booster contributions.
The UAA holds the right to withhold or alter Gator Booster membership level benefits for any account that it deems a broker account. These benefits include but are not limited to the following:
